We're HIRING! FINANCE MANAGER, ABU DHABI (Technology & Manufacturing):- We have been appointed by our clients who are at the forefront of designing, developing, and manufacturing autonomous, unmanned land and maritime platforms in their search for a dynamic Finance Manager.

Ideally, the proffered candidate would have been exposed to multi-jurisdictional tax and VAT matters, thus aiding their international operations. As Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance across various jurisdictions, and supporting our strategic goals.

Core Role Definition (What They Must Be Able to Do) - The candidate must be able to: Own the day-to-day running of company accounts, Build and maintain project-level financial forecasts, Run monthly management accounts, Control cashflow, working capital, and payment cycles, Prepare the company for: External funding & Audits

Qualification & Professional Standing (Mandatory) - ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA (or international equivalent) Degree in: Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business with Finance specialism

Come from one of the following sectors (Strong Preference) - Manufacturing, Defence / Aerospace, Engineering, Infrastructure, Energy, Capital-intensive projects, or complex multi-entity groups

Forecasting & Financial Modelling Capability (Critical) - Must demonstrate hands-on ability in project Forecasting, Multi-project cashflow forecasts, Revenue timing vs delivery milestones, Capex vs Opex modelling. Unit economics & margin tracking, Debt service & covenant modelling, Funding runway projections (12–36 months)

Day-to-Day Financial Operations (Must Be Hands-On) - Candidate MUST be comfortable actually running finance, not only supervising: Accounts payable & receivable, Payroll oversight, VAT / GST / Sales tax, Month-end closing, Bank reconciliations, FX exposure tracking, Budget vs actual.

Risk, Compliance & Governance - Required experience with Audit preparation, Financial compliance, Internal controls, Fraud prevention, Contract financial risk analysis, Multi-jurisdiction tax exposure (strong advantage)
